Dykewriters Conference creates space for womyn-loving-womyn of all races who are born female, still live as female, identify as lesbians, and love to write, read, and listen to lesbian words. We are primarily for lesbians in the southeastern region of the United States, but lesbians from other regions are welcome. We celebrate womyn, affirm our herstory as lesbians, and work together to find avenues of creativity and expansion. Dykewriters Zoom creates an on-line space for our members to meet monthly to share our writing, a bit about our lives, and to stay connected throughout the year.

Spring Conference, April 15-19, 2026
The 2026 Dykewriters, Southern Lesbian Writers Conference, will meet in south Georgia, April 15-19. Affordable registration for this intimate gathering covers workshops, readings, variety show, 3 meals a day, snacks and if desired, bunk space in primitive cabins.
